An Evening of History and Conversation Celebrating the 250th Anniversary of the United States Postal Service
In celebration of the 250th anniversary of the U.S. Postal Service, join us for a historical evening examining how the establishment of Rural Free Delivery reshaped life in rural America. This panel discussion will highlight the cultural, political, and economic legacy of mail delivery to rural areas—delivered by the voices of historians, folklorists, and union leaders

The historic Shepherdstown Opera House is cozy vaudeville era theater that seats 100 — we encourage patrons to reserve in advance. Doors open 30 minutes before showtime. Popcorn, candy, soft drinks, beer & wine available for purchase (no outside food or drinks please). Lobby, theater & restroom are wheelchair accessible.
