Spring Fever Party Alert!

It’s been a long winter, but Spring is in full bloom and we are ready to have a party with Black Masala and The Gypsy Ramblers! Come ready to dance!

Local favorites The Gypsy Ramblers will start the show with their signature blend of gypsy jazz, ‘dawg,’ and blues.

Brassy, funky, 7-piece band Black Masala is a DC-based genre-busting whirlwind of dueling energies, competing harmonies, and driving hypnotic beats.

This is their FIRST show at the Opera House since our top-to-bottom rebuild, and we’re thrilled to welcome them back to Shepherdstown!

With rock drive and a willingness to be as weird and wonderful as the party demands, Black Masala’s original tunes tell stories of powerful women, rascally dudes, raucous nights, and life on the road.

Whether they are performing live shows or releasing new music, Black Masala pushes the boundaries between genres and explores new musical frontiers. This unorthodox and highly creative approach is what makes the shows so much fun with a wild and unpredictable vibe for the audience.

The historic Shepherdstown Opera House is a cozy 99-seat vaudeville-era theater — we encourage patrons to purchase tickets in advance. Online sales end 1 hour before showtime. Doors open 30 minutes before showtime and our shows start promptly. Popcorn, candy, soft drinks, beer & wine available for purchase (no outside food or drinks please). Lobby, theater & restroom are wheelchair accessible.
