The Shepherdstown Opera House welcomes high schoolers, Shepherd University students, and the whole community for a screening of Amy Heckerling’s iconic 1995 comedy Clueless.
Before the film, Professor Valerie Stevens of Shepherd University’s Department of English and Modern Languages will offer a short introduction on how the film reimagines Jane Austen’s Emma for 1990s Beverly Hills — and how a 200-year-old novel can still inspire great storytelling today.
Admission is Pay-What-You-Will.
